Ah man, killer! A beautiful album and the one that took Bob to the mainstream. And how well they received it! Truly one of a kind. I suppose you have to give credit towards Chris Blackwell and Richard Branson at Virgin at the time as well as England because they took to reggae from day one pretty much. I also believe that Elvis Presley didn’t have the sort of effect that Bob Marley had on music.
There’s not a country on earth that hasn’t taken reggae music to their heart. When this exceptional album came out by Bob Marley & The Wailers, I had just left secondary school, only to continue my education in the larger school classroom of the adult world. The exodus continues…
