I had a love of my life, and he fell ill, to schizophrenia. He’d go missing, repeatedly, for weeks at a time. No More Shall We Part came out, and it allowed me to mourn the change I was going through, that this relationship with the love of my life was dying. I’d never felt requited love before, and I’ve never really been in love since then. That record is super important to me, because I was able to heal my wounds with it.
