Coil’s 1998 run of EPs Moon’s Milk (In Four Phases) is to be reissued collectively via Dais Records.
Out in March, the reissue will be spread across 3xLP, double-CD and digital editions, collecting more than two hours of music. They will take in all of the tracks on the four EPs, as well as bonus material made in connection with the original release. You can listen to ‘A White Rainbow’ from the release just below.
First compiled as a double CD in 2002, Moon’s Milk (In Four Phases) is a set of four EPs that Coil released in tribute to the changing seasons via their in-house Eskaton imprint across 1998. The lineup for these sessions was John Balance, Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson, Drew McDowall and William Breeze. Recorded primarily at their home studio in Chiswick, London on the eve of a permanent relocation to the small seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, the EPs have never been officially reissued, or repressed on vinyl.
Dais’ reissue of Moon’s Milk (In Four Phases) comes off the back of a range of re-releases of Coil material in recent years, including Queens Of The Circulating Library, Constant Shallowness Leads To Evil and Musick To Play In The Dark.
