James Mason – ‘I Want Your Love’

This came out in 1996, even though it had been made, I think in the late 70s. That's how I came across it, nearly 30 years ago, and that was another Holy Grail track. It really is an iconic record. A lot of people love this record, but it was huge in Manchester. Myself and Justin both picked one up the day that it came out. And again, it's a bit like the Inertia track but with more of a Roy Ayers feeling as well, but it's got some electronic synth sounds in there. And it's got the beautiful vocal and it's that bittersweet fusion of opposites coming together in an alchemy moment. Yeah, it's one of the greatest records ever made for me.
