Howlin’ Wolf – The Complete RPM And Chess Singles

I first started listening to Howlin’ Wolf around about 1972. At the time, you could get Howlin’ Wolf albums as cut-outs, so you were able to get them at a very low price and I had very little money at the time, so being able to buy an album for like $2 was a good thing. There are so many blues musicians that I like – Lightning Hopkins is great, Mississippi John Hurt – but of all the blues musicians, I think Howlin’ Wolf is the best. It’s hard to get any better than that.
