Fugees Postpone Reunion Tour To 2022

The trio had been due to start their tour this week

Fugees have postponed a run of worldwide tour dates, which had been due to kick off this week.

The trio confirmed their reunion in September to mark the 25th anniversary of their album The Score. That same month, they played a brief set in New York for a Global Citizen Live event, which marked their first on-stage performance together in 15 years.

Tickets for a run of arena dates also went on sale in September, with the shows originally due to kick off tonight (November 2) at Chicago’s United Center, and travel on to a number of US locations, as well as Paris and London. Those shows will now no longer go ahead as planned in the coming weeks, with the group confirming that they have been postponed to 2022.

"Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th anniversary tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible," a statement shared via the trio’s social media read. "With so much excitement around the reunion tour, we are also happy to announce that we will be adding more cities and dates!"

The new dates, including an additional run of other cities not originally covered by the tour, are due to be announced in the near future.
