Arca has a new album on the way, titled KICK ii.
Due out in December, the record is the successor to 2020’s KiCK i and is described in a press release as "the second stage in the ongoing KiCK series." The album, it continues, is designed "to represent the multiple self-states that exist within Arca," with the record taking in contributions from Mica Levi, Boys Noize and Sia. The latter features on the album’s lead single, ‘Born Yesterday’, for which you can watch a video above.
The announcement of KICK ii comes a week on from the release of standalone track ‘Incendio’, which does not feature on the new record.
XL will release KICK ii on December 3, 2021.
