Christian Eede , September 28th, 2020 15:49

Burial has co-produced album cut 'The Second Spell' and also delivered his own remix

Charles Webster has revealed details of his first solo album in 19 years, featuring a co-production credit for Burial on one track.

Decision Time is due out in November and takes in 10 tracks, with Burial sharing production duties on closing track 'The Second Spell'. The collaboration came about as a result of Burial citing Webster's 1999 album All Systems Gone, released under his Presence alias, as a key influence.

Elsewhere on the album, there are features for poet and former Prince collaborator Ingrid Chavez, Massive Attack collaborator Shara Nelson, and South African singer Thandi Draai. As well as co-producing 'The Second Spell', Burial has remixed the title track on accompanying EP The Spell, which is due out on October 9. You can hear his remix just above.

This is Burial's first new output since the release in June of last year of Claustro / State Forest on Hyperdub.

Dimensions Recordings will release Decision Time on November 20, 2020.
