Oneohtrix Point Never To Sell Synths

Oneohtrix Point Never will next week sell a large part of his gear collection through marketplace Reverb

Reverb, the online marketplace for buying and selling musical instruments, has linked up with Oneohtrix Point Never, AKA Daniel Lopatin, to sell part of his gear collection amassed over the last decade.

The instruments included in the sale have been used by Lopatin in the studio and on tour, and cover synths, samplers, recording gear and more.

One of the standout pieces of kit up for sale is a Roland SP-555 Sampler which Lopatin used extensively on his 2011 album Replica, while there is also a Roland SP-404 Sampler for sale which Lopatin used in the years before Replica. "It was used a lot for live shows in the late 2000s. It’s seen a lot of basement floors and backs of vans," he says of the sampler.

The sale begins on May 7. You can find more information here. Lopatin’s Reverb sale follows on from other similar ones by Moby, Sonic Youth and more.
