London four-piece Black Midi have signed to Rough Trade, and released a new single titled ‘Speedway’. You can watch a video for the track, as well as a number of accompanying remixes, above.
Enlisted to remix the track are Blanck Mass, Proc Fiskal and Kwake. The EP can only be picked up physically as a limited 12" at the group’s upcoming shows.
Black Midi’s signing to Rough Trade follows on just over a year on from the release of their first material via Speedy Wunderground. That label’s Dan Carey handles production duties on ‘Speedway’.
The band are on tour in the UK and Europe through this week and next month, and have also today been announced to play this year’s Roskilde. Find their upcoming tour dates here.
