Girls (Lena Dunham, 2012 - )

Women are definitely making it in TV shows. We have never had such a preeminent space to freely talk about sex, that's for sure. And women need to talk about sex, since we have been silenced for such a long time! I always describe the experience of watching Girls or Orange Is The New Black as liberating. They have this hooligan comedy side that amuses me a lot. Women are often expected to be sweet, diplomatic, and have tons of political correctness, and Hannah Horvath is just the opposite to all these cliches. I adore her, even if she's a character that makes me feel uncomfortable sometimes. I also find it great that Lena Dunham is always drifting around her show naked, even if she's not a supermodel: I think that's really transgressive.
