The Clash - 'What's My Name?'

I just love their first album – especially the songs 'London's Burning' and 'What's My Name?' I was a big Jam fan when they started, but I'd gone off them by their second single. When it came to The Clash, we all thought Mick overplayed a bit, but we loved Joe Strummer because he was a rock & roller and they called themselves a rock & roll group. He was also one of the best British vocalist in quite a while. Siouxsie And The Banshees and bands like them were essentially post-glam bands. I liked rock & roll. The Clash's first album was a great rock & roll album, and so was The Damned's, ATV's, The Modern Lovers' and Richard Hell's.
