Black Sabbath – Paranoid
I’ve become more of a Black Sabbath fan the older I’ve got. Nobody’s ever made an album that sounds like it. It was astonishing. They were a bloody good band. Ozzy’s voice is incredible. The lyrics are barmy – the bass player wrote them. Paranoid was darker and drier than their debut. Then there was Master Of Reality. Everybody from I knew at the time had those albums. They were absolutely huge. I’d just left boarding school so I was about 15, and I’d never heard anything like it.
