Hyperdub & Idle Hands At Fabric

Another one of those marvelous multi-disciplinary line-ups that Fabric occasionally assembles, hitting the London club this Friday

This Friday, 7th September, Fabric play host to one of those multi-genre parties they're rather good at, featuring showcases from Hyperdub, Night Slugs and Bristol's Idle Hands.

Hyperdub, who have had a prolific and wide-ranging year thus far, take over Room 1 with representatives of the label, including label boss Kode9, Cooly G, and Terror Danjah, performing with Riko Dan ahead of his forthcoming Dark Crawler LP. Chicago ghetto house/footwork veteran Traxman (pictured) whose reputation as a fearsome DJ precedes him, will be playing, as will LV, fresh from the release of their Sebenza LP, Scratcha DVA and Morgan Zarate.

Room 2 will be hosted by the Night Slugs crew, with label heads L-Vis 1990 and Bok Bok back-to-back, alongside performances from Jam City (whose Classical Curves LP has been one of the year's most intriguing and rewarding dance records), Nguzunguzu and Kingdom.

Room 3 will be hosted by excellent Bristol based label Idle Hands. It features Vessel, who is set to release his debut album Order Of Noise through Tri Angle on 24th September, as well as Kowton, Asusu, Szare and Outboxx - who are regulars in our Hyperspecific electronic music column - and The Kelly Twins, two of the best DJs in Bristol. The mysterious Szare duo have also provided a mix via the Fabric blog in anticipation of the event - stream it below.
