Julian Marszalek, The Quietus' man at today's 'did they really need to call it' press conference has confirmed that Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani and Reni are to reform the Stone Roses. Mani appeared with his bandmates saying "we're here to deny that the Stone Roses are reforming," the mad wit. We're told that John Squire, who previously said he'd rather stew his own gizzard in red wine and watch Ian Brown eat it rather than reform the group, was very quiet at the press conference. The band will play to 75,000 people at Heaton Park in Manchester on June 29th and 30th next year, and have promised new material. This will be the start of a world tour, though no further dates have been announced as yet. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9.30 AM, find out more from the new The Stone Roses website. So what are your views on the reunion? Check out our opposing views on the group here: Neil Kulkarni's blasting of the band's debut versus John Tatlock saying that the 'Roses should be considered without the baggage.

Look! There's a picture! WHERE'S RENI'S FUCKING HAT?
