There are sometimes songs that get fixed into your head, not like needly pop earwigs, but ones that just demand that you play them on repeat, over and over, until you turn into one of those mad people who occasionally get an ASBO for expressing their love of Whitney Houston at 2.10 am. So it is with Cold Cave’s ‘Villains Of The Moon’, the song of laughing in the face of doom that closes their terrific LP Cherish The Light Years, that I must confess I was playing about five times a day for a couple of weeks.
