Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan will appear on the new Beastie Boys album.

The band, who are currently working on Hot Sauce Committee Pt 2, heard Dylan discussing their music on a radio show he hosts and describing himself as "a big fan".

As a result, they decided to sample Dylan's voice on the new record, which is due in September.

Band member Mike D confirmed: "He played one of our songs and was talking about is; he's a big fan. So we collaborated with that."
