Overmono, the duo of Tessela and Truss, will release their debut album, Good Lies, this May.
The 12-track album follows up on a string of singles and EPs released by the pair since 2016 on labels like XL, AD 93 and their own Poly Kicks. The record includes previously released tracks ‘Walk Thru Water’ and ‘So U Kno’, as well as the newly unveiled cut ‘Is U’, which you can listen to above.
"Across the last two years, we have spent so much time on the road, making music whenever we could," Overmono said in a statement. "Moving around all the time was always really inspiring and got us experimenting a lot and having fun with how we created chords or chopped and pitched vocals. This album is really a letter of love to the journey so far and marks where we want to take things."
XL will release Good Lies on May 12, 2023.
