Utrecht’s Le Guess Who? festival has shared the full music lineup for its 2022 edition later this year.
Newly added to the festival’s general music programme are Oumou Sangaré; Yaya Bey; Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids; Joanne Roberson; Cate Le Bon; Alison Cotton; Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul; and Huerco S., among others.
Elsewhere on the lineup, Animal Collective have added a DJ set from Dennis Bovell to their curated programme, while CURL’s curation will now take in a DJ set from The Garbage Man, AKA Liz Harris/Grouper. clipping. are the other act who are curating part of the bill at this year’s event, and they’ve added KMRU & Aho Ssan, Manuka Honey and Rival Consoles to their music programme.
The festival is also linking up with a number of acts and labels for a series of showcases. Among them is an evening hosted by Timedance label boss Batu, which will take in DJ sets from himself, Kode9, Bambounou and Lena Willikens. Bong-Ra will play live and present performances from Merakhaazan and Olmo Lungring, while Nyege Nyege’s previously announced showcase will newly host DJ Diaki, Judgitzu and DJ Travella, among others.
They all join the previously announced likes of Low, Abdullah Ibrahim, Rats On Rafts, KOKOKO!, Nkisi, Divide And Dissolve, Gnod and Sote at this year’s festival.
