Le Guess Who? Adds Gnod Showcase To 2022 Lineup

The Utrecht festival – which has also newly confirmed performances from The Master Musicians of Jajouka, Sote and others – returns this November

Le Guess Who? has shared details of a number of new lineup additions and showcases for its 2022 event later this year.

Gnod have been added to the bill, and they will also showcase two other acts which include members of the group: Holy Scum and Moundabout. As part of the festival’s Hidden Musics programme, which aims to showcase localised acts and artists who’ve developed sounds from centuries-old musical traditions, there will be performances from The Master Musicians of Jajouka; Cheikha Rabia and dancer Esraa Warda; Egypt’s Nancy Mounir, alongside Utrecht’s The Flare Quartet; Pakistan’s Ustad Noor Bakhsh; flamenco artist Lole Montoya; and Burkina Faso’s Kaito Winse.

Also newly added to the bill are Sote, Tarik Barri, Mabe Fratti, Hinako Omori, Hatis Noit and Coco Maria, who will bring her Club Coco concept to the festival, backed by performances from Anatolian folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Derya Yildirim; Bogotá-based group Romperayo; and Mexican cumbia-punk band Son Rompe Pera.

Le Guess Who? previously revealed that Low, Abdullah Ibrahim, Rats On Rafts, KOKOKO!, Animal Collective, CURL, Horse Lord, Nkisi and Divide And Dissolve, among many others, would be performing at this year’s edition of the festival.

Le Guess Who? will take place from November 10 to 13, 2022. Find more information here.
