Call Super Details New Double EP, ‘Cherry Drops’

The EP's will arrive via can you feel the sun, the label they run with Parris

Call Super has a new double EP, ‘Cherry Drops’, on the way.

Coming out via can you feel the sun, the label they run with Parris, it follows on from last year’s album, Every Mouth Teeth Missing, which was released via New York label Incienso, as well as two collaborative EPs with Parris, released on can you feel the sun in 2019 and 2020. You can watch a video above for the lead track, ‘Eye Flow Wide’, made by Shanghai-based digital artist Kim Laughton.

The double EP takes in five tracks in total, and will be split into two releases. It’s described as "a collection of tracks written around the time [Call Super was] working on a larger project called Tell Me I Didn’t Choose This, which reflects on a period in their life of upheaval, trauma and self-discovery." The music on the double EP developed into its own project, however, becoming "a distraction from painful reflections and recollections."

can you feel the sun will release Cherry Drops I and Cherry Drops II on September 24, 2021 and October 22, 2021, respectively.
