Laraaji has released a new EP, titled Through Luminous Eyes.
The EP is the final part of a trilogy of piano releases that started in July with Sun Piano and was followed this month with Moon Piano. Through Luminous Eyes takes in piano and autoharp duets that were recorded in the same Brooklyn Church session that birthed the aforementioned albums.
To celebrate the release, Laraaji will perform a set dedicated to the EP’s material tonight (October 30), streamed from the stage of Le Poisson rouge in New York City. This is the last of three piano-themed concerts he has played at the venue this month. You can find more information here.
