FKA twigs has shared early details of her second album which will be titled Magdalene.
Speaking to i-D Magazine, she revealed that the bulk of the record has been produced by Nicolas Jaar. One track, titled ‘Holy Terrain’, also features Future.
"The record is about every lover that I’ve ever had, and every lover that I’m going to have," she said. "It’s really fragile. I made it at a time when I was in recovery – physically and emotionally – and I think that comes through."
She worked on the album over the course of the last three years, recording between London, New York and Los Angeles.
The album was previewed earlier this year with the single ‘Cellophane’. It will be her first full-length release since 2014 debut LP1. A tracklist and release date is yet to be confirmed.
