Squarepusher’s album Ultravisitor is being reissued by Warp Records.

Marking 20 years since its original release, the updated release will be made available across CD and digital formats, and will also get a limited one-time vinyl pressing. The record’s tracks have been carefully remastered especially for the release, with a press release saying Squarepusher, real name Tom Jenkinson, was never fully satisfied with the sound of the original release.

The reissue will also take in bonus album Venus No.17 Maximised, which is compiled from material originally released as part of the Ultravisitor promo EP, the Square Window three-inch CD given out with WarpMart pre-orders of the album, and the Venus No.17 EP itself. An accompanying booklet will contain photographs, posters and recording documentation from Jenkinson’s personal archives.

You can listen to two track from the reissue – ‘Iambic 9 Poetry’ from Ultravisitor, and ‘Abacus 2’ from Venus No.17 Maximised – below.

Warp Records will release Ultravisitor (20th Anniversary Edition) on October 25, 2024.
