Unsound Adds Blawan, Tirzah And More To 2023 Lineup

Ziúr will also link up with Elvin Brandhi, Iceboy Violet and Sander Houtkruijer to present her new album, 'Eyeroll', at the Kraków event

Unsound has shared the second wave of acts playing its 2023 edition this October.

The Kraków festival will newly take in live sets from Blawan, Tirzah, Zaumne and Rrose, who will present material from their recent album, Please Touch, alongside imagery from Dada films of the 1920s. Mabe Fratti will present new and old works with help from I. La Católica on guitars, Warsaw’s Hubert Zemler on percussion, and winds from Kraków’s Spółdzielnia Muzyczna contemporary ensemble, while Ziúr is set to showcase her album Eyeroll, recently released via Hakuna Kulala, with accompaniment from Elvin Brandhi, Iceboy Violet and Sander Houtkruijer.

Other highlight additions include a linkup between New York’s dreamcrusher and Kill Alters; a live presentation by Heinali of his album Kyiv Eternal; and a live audiovisual show from Shapednoise based around his latest album, Absurd Matter, featuring visuals from Sevi Iko Dømochevsky.

They all join the previously announced likes of Autechre, Lee Gamble, Lonnie Holley, 33EMYBW and Natural Wonder Beauty Concept, AKA Ana Roxanne and DJ Python, on the bill for this year’s festival. More names will be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.

Unsound will take place from October 1 to 8, 2023. Find more information here.
