Tresor To Reissue LP From Alias Of Drexciya’s James Stinson

Shifted Phases' 'The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope' will be made available for the first time in two decades

Tresor is reissuing a 2002 album by Shifted Phases, an alias of Drexciya’s James Stinson.

The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope was the only release to come out under the Shifted Phases name, and was originally issued shortly after Stinson’s death. Tresor’s reissue of the record will mark the first time it has been made available on vinyl in 20 years, and digitally altogether. It comes with newly commissioned artwork by Detroit-based artist Matthew Angelo Harrison, while the 3xLP set will also feature the tracks ‘Crossing Of The Sun-Ra Nebula’ and ‘Alien Vessel Distress Call’, which were previously only available on the original CD release.

Tresor will release The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope on March 31, 2023.
