Space Afrika To Release New Album, ‘Honest Labour’

The Manchester duo's new full-length release is described as "a homage to UK energy"

Space Afrika have a new album on the way via Dais Records.

Titled Honest Labour, the 19-track release takes in guest contributions from LA Timpa, Blackhaine and Bianca Scout. It follows on from last year’s highly-rated Hybtwibt? mixtape, which the Manchester duo self-released via Bandcamp.

Honest Labour takes in classical strings and guitar, as well as incorporating ambient and various forms of experimental music. It’s described by the duo as "a homage to UK energy," and an exploration of both "love and loss." It was produced during lockdown and inspired, the duo say, by "records that leave an impression, and help the listener deal with their life." You can watch a video for the Blackhaine-featuring ‘B£E’ above.

Dais Records will release Honest Labour on August 27, 2021.
