Sufjan Stevens – Seven Swans
From the opening bars of the opening song this album kills me every time. There's something so vulnerable about Sufjan's songs and his voice is like a balm for my soul. His writing is a real shining light to me and I feel like I understand the depths he goes to in it. I recently decided to play 'All The Trees of The Field Will Clap Their Hands' as my pre-show song and found it calmed me in a really special way.

This album would definitely be one I'd save from a house fire and hold close as I ran for safety.

"And I am joining all my thoughts to you/ And I'm preparing every part for you..."
