Trouw Successor To Open Next Month

De School announces listing for opening two months

The long-awaited successor to Amsterdam’s Trouw club, De School, will open next month.

Located in a school’s former bicycle storage area and with a capacity of 500, the club can be found in the west of the city. The venue will also be equipped with a concert venue, a restaurant, a café, an exhibition space and a gym. As Resident Advisor reports, it has a 24-hour license and will be open seven days a week. The DJ booth will be located within the crowd and a number of local DJs have already been locked down for appearances and residencies with Tom Trago, Job Jobse, Young Marco and Dekmantel Soundsystem among them. International guests such as Shanti Celeste, Barnt, Konstantin and DJ Sotofett will also play the club in its opening months.

The club will not work with external promoters, with all bookings handled in-house. De School’s opening event takes place on January 3 and you can find more information here.
