The Walker Brothers - Nite Flights
The same guy who introduced me to Lee Hazlewood introduced me to Scott Walker. I had an internship in his recording studio at the time and after a day's work we would put on an LP and listen. It was all classic records, and it was on one of those evenings that I got introduced to Scott Walker's music. I think it must have been either Scott, … 2 or … 3. I remember how everyone in the room loved the music, but I didn't get it at all, which annoyed me. Some years later, I heard Nite Flights and the track 'The Electrician' especially blew my mind, and I had to go back and discover his earlier records, as well as more recent ones like Tilt.
