Muddy Waters - Fathers And Sons
Putting on records is a very early memory for me. I knew which cover produced which sound in most of my uncle's record collection. Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel was the one I put on for dancing. The live version of 'Got My Mojo Working' would whip me into an ecstatic frenzy, much to the family's amusement. I saw footage of Muddy on TV as a kid, there was this incandescent light streaming out of different sections of his head. Like he was bursting out of his incarnation. It's when I realised music was a way to get out of your body.
