Short Circuit Announce Mute Nights For 2011 Festival

Label to take over the Roundhouse in May

Now this is some exciting news and no mistake: The annual brilliant Short Circuit Festival and Mute are to team up for two nights at the Roundhouse next year. On May 13th and 14, the label will take over the Chalk Farm venue for a series of "performances and unique collaborations from Mute artists past, present and future alongside talks, workshops, screenings and installations." The aim of the weekend is to "celebrate Mute’s unique and influential work as a label". Here here! At Quietus Luke’s house, the top shelves of his CD cabinet are reserved for Mute artists alone. You can like the event on facebook here. Tickets are available from the Roundhouse website here. Stay tuned to the Quietus for more information about Mute at Short Circuit over the coming months.
