New line-up to play Primavera this weekend

Wire have revealed that their new live guitarist is non other than Mr Matt Simms, of Too Pure's indie troupers It Hugs Back. Simms replaces Margaret Fiedler-McGinnis, formerly of Laika, who was Wire's live guitarist between 2008 and 2009. A new indie direction for Wire? "Hardly!" Mr Colin Newman told us.

Wire are currently undertaking a brief tour of France before they play Primavera Festival. They then do the Mojo Honours Party in early June, before completing work on the follow up to 2008's brilliant Object 47. See the latest version of Wire play live below:
