Upset The Rhythm February Tour

Promoters/record label tour the UK with three bands in tow - Gentle Friendly, Way Through and Peepholes

Upset The Rhythm, the crew responsible for some of the capital’s best gigs and a host of pleasingly scuzzy releases, are taking their show on the road in early February.

The Kingdom Tour finds them bringing three duos to venues across the UK, with running order shifting from evening to evening.

First is London duo Gentle Friendly [pictured], who write frenetic, cyclical, keyboard-led punk. Also on the line-up are Way Through, a duo described intriguingly as "pastoral punk" and whose debut album Arrow Shower is out now through UTR’s record label, and Peepholes, whose Caligula mini-album sits somewhere at the join between heatshocked US synth music and their tourmates’ more punky feel.

You can listen to the first track from Way Through’s upcoming cassette Enclosure here, entitled ‘Visiting Mercia’. Enclosure is due for release through Comfortable On A Tightrope next month, to coincide with the tour dates.
