Yo La Tengo Detail New Album, ‘This Stupid World’

They've also locked in an extensive tour of Europe and the US for the first half of 2023

Yo La Tengo will kick off 2023 with the release of their 16th studio album, This Stupid World.

Spanning nine tracks, the band’s first album since 2020’s entirely instrumental We Have Amnesia Sometimes was made entirely by the band themselves with no outside mixers or producers. Alongside the record’s announcement, they’ve shared lead track ‘Fallout’, for which you can watch a lyric video above.

The band are set to head out on an extensive tour of Europe and the US from February through to May in the wake of the new album’s release. The tour will include UK and Ireland shows in Dublin, Manchester, Bristol and London. Find the full list of dates via Yo La Tengo’s website.

Matador will release This Stupid World on February 10, 2023.
