Laraaji And More For Wysing Polyphonic

The ninth edition of the festival was curated by Moor Mother and Emptyset's Paul Purgas, and boasts a slew of tQ favourites on the line-up

The Wysing Arts Centre have announced the lineup for the ninth edition of their annual music festival, Wysing Polyphonic. This year the festival has been curated by Camae Ayewa (Moor Mother) and Paul Purgas (Emptyset).

The announcement contains tQ favourites such Laraaji and Aïsha Devi.

Wysing Polyphonic said: “A thread of mysticism and spiritual energy runs throughout the programme, weaving through sonic and performative works of great emotional and political power. Wysing Polyphonic aims to reveal and celebrate the hidden energies and potentiality that flows through us all.”

Also confirmed to play are Agf Poem Producer, DJ Haram, Caterina Barbieri, Ewa Justka, Harrga, Lafawndah, Last Yearz Interesting Negro, Moor Mother, Mutamassik, Poulomi Desai, Phoebe Collings-James, Yatta.
