Long-time Quietus favourites Wire are embarking on a lengthy tour tomorrow, in support of this year’s Change Becomes Us album, one of our favourites of the year so far.
In support for the UK dates (barring Festival No. 6) will be London experimental improvisation three-piece Xaviers, comprising Yuki Tsujii and Akihide ‘Mon-Chan’ Mona of Bo Ningen and visual artist and synth player Kenichi Iwasa. The group will be putting out their very first recordings during the tour, taping each set and making it available for free download for one day following – stay tuned for further details.
