Win: Soap&Skin Tickets

Gig this Thursday

18-year-old Austrian singer Anja Plaschg, who goes under the name Soap&Skin, has been something of a hit here in Quietus HQ. Her debut album Lovetune for Vacuum recalls Nico’s mid-period material (Desertshore, The Marble Index), combined with darkly up-to-date electronic glitches. Listen to Soap&Skin here.

We saw her play a showcase in South London the other month which, despite a tantrum and a storm-off halfway through, made for a compelling and captivating evening out.

Now, one lucky Quietus reader can win a pair of tickets to see her perform at Bush Hall in London this Thursday, April 2nd. All you have to do is answer the following question and email your response to info@thequietus.com:

Anja Plaschg grew up on:

a) A French trout farm

b) A Polish tank farm

c) An Austrian pig farm
