WIN: Shut Up and Play the Hits DVDs

We've got five copies of the LCD Soundsystem final concert film to give away

Last year, New York punk-funk big hitters LCD Soundsystem heralded their split with one final gig at Madison Square Garden. The four-hour performance has been made into a feature-length film, setting concert footage alongside a post-concert interview with LCD main man James Murphy done, and released as Shut Up and Play the Hits, directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, with additional camerawork by none other than Spike Jonze and Lance Bangs – have a watch of the trailer below:

The film had its European premiere last month, where we had a brief chat with Mr Murphy – read the interview here. You can download it from iTunes now, and it’s coming out on Monday, October 8, on DVD and Blu-Ray as a 3-disc boxset featuring the film and full-length concert footage.

We’ve got five copies of the DVD to give away. To be in with a chance of winning, just e-mail your answer to following question to comps@thequietus.com, with LCD SOUNDSYSTEM in the subject line, by midday Friday October 12. To read the Quietus Competition terms & conditions, click here.
