City Slang’s excellent Notwist will be making a rare trip over from Germany to the sumptuous Union Chapel this Saturday night, December 12th, and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away.
This won’t be a standard Notwist show either – though is there such a thing? The band will be performing a collaboration with the brilliantly-named The Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra: "old and new Notwist songs are elaborated upon to form extremely complex and intelligent orchestral arrangements that are sometimes moody and often happily insane," we are reliably informed.
The Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra also featured on the Notwist’s latest album, The Devil, You and Me, and released their own album Take Off on the Notwist’s own Alien Transistor label this may.
To win a pair of tickets to this extra special gig, just email info@thequietus.com with the answer to the following question:
