WIN: Moog Werkstatt-01 Kit

Get your hands on a piece of synth kit based on the design of classic Moog synthesisers

Earlier this week, to mark the tenth anniversary of Bob Moog’s death, Bobby Barry tried his hand at playing with a Modular System 55 exploring the synth and Moog’s wider history. You can read that piece here. Now, we’re offering you the chance to win a Moog Werkstatt-01 (pictured above), a 100% analog synthesiser based on the design of classic Moog products, so you can get exploring for yourself. You can find out more information about it here.

In order to be in with the chance of winning, all you have to do is email the correct answer to the question below to comps@thequietus.com with the subject line ‘Moog Competition’. Entries close at midday on Tuesday (August 25).

Moog will host events at Shoreditch’s Ace Hotel over the next week also as part of the ‘Moog Sound Lab’ series. On August 25, Jimi Tenor will play live and you can find information on that as well as tickets here, while on August 29 Keija Haino will perform and information as well as tickets can be found here.

In what year was the Moog Modular System 55 first released?

A: 1962

B: 1925

C: 1973
