After last week’s announcement of the shortlist for this year’s Barclaycard Mercury Prize, the organisers behind the prize have lined up a series of gigs headlined by the nominated acts, all taking place at LSO St Luke’s and raising money for the charity War Child.
First up are long-overdue nominees Field Music, sharing the bill with Jessie Ware and Lianne La Havas, next Wednesday, September 26, and we’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away for the gig. To be in with a chance of winning, just e-mail your answer to following question to comps@thequietus.com, with MERCURY in the subject line, by midday Friday, September 21.
