The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion have a new album on the way – Meat And Bone is out on September 17 via Boombox/Mom + Pop.
Mixed by Spencer himself, its the group’s first album in over eight years and continues their trademark raw, bluesy rock n’ roll – have a listen to the storm-in-a-teacup 30 second teaser below:
The band are heading on a European tour in support of the album, heading to London’s Electric Ballroom on December 3.
Before that, though, they’re launching the album with a show at Birthdays in Dalston on September 26. You can buy tickets here, but we’ve got a pair of tickets up for grabs.
