WIN: Diamond Version Tickets + Vinyl & CDs

We've got a rafter of tickets to give away to the Club To Club launch show, the Alva Noto/Byetone collab's first UK appearance

On September 19, Diamond Version will be heading up a bill at London’s Village Underground to launch this year’s Alfa MiTo Club To Club electronic festival, taking place in Torino, Italy from November 7-10.

It’ll be the first UK show by Diamond Version, the duo comprising Alva Noto and Byetone, heads of German label Raster Noton. Over the course of the last year, they’ve released five EPs through Mute, each containing their particular brand of oof-worthy, seismic electronics – have a watch of ‘Make Believe’ from EP5, which features the visuals DV use live, below:

Supporting will be Walls’ Alessio Natalizia, playing a DJ set of highlights stemming from his recent Italian New Wave compilation Mutazione, as well as Italian trio Niños Du Brasil, dealing out a visceral collision of Brazilian batucada music and noise.

The Club To Club festival itself is something of an embarrassment of riches, lining up some of the Quietus’ favourite banger merchants and knob twiddlers, including Factory Floor, Ben UFO, Dinos Chapman, Holly Herndon, James Holden, Jon Hopkins, Koreless and The Haxan Cloak, to name a few. For full details and tickets, head over to Club To Club’s website.

You can get hold of tickets through the Village Underground’s website; HOWEVER, we have a mighty prize to offer: one winner will get a ticket for themselves and three others, as well as Diamond Version vinyl and the Mutazione and Niños Du Brasil albums on CD, while two runners-up will get a pair of tickets each. To be in with a chance of winning, e-mail your answer to the following question to comps@thequietus.com, with CLUB in the subject line, by noon on Monday 16 September.
