We here at tQ are rather enamoured of London’s Desperate Journalist, who ply a fine line in richly-written indie, as evidenced on their self-titled full-length, getting its vinyl release on January 26 via Fierce Panda – watch the video for ‘Control’ below to get an idea of what we mean. The band are launching the album next week, January 22, with a gig at The Lexington in London (tickets are here), and they’ve given us a whole stack of stuff to give away to two readers – a pair of passes each, plus copies of the album on CD and a T-shirt, in one of the two fetching colours you can see below.
