William Basinski has shared details of his next album, titled Lamentations.
The 12-track album is constructed from tape loops and studies from Basinski’s archives, which date back to 1979. It’s preceded by lead track ‘O, My Daughter, O, My Sorrow’, which you can check out just below. Lamentations is Basinski’s first full solo album since last year’s black hole-inspired On Time Out Of Time.
Temporary Residence Limited will release Lamentations on November 13, 2020.
