Californian psych-rock hippies White Manna are putting out their debut album on 11 June, set for release via Holy Mountain. The eponymous LP is a mere five tracks, but each one is a relentless, krautrock – rhythmed fuzz n’ wah fest. Keeping things suitably retrograde, the band have no website, barring their Bandcamp page, where you can listen to four of the five cuts and gaze at the gloriously swampy album artwork. Have a listen to ‘Mirror Sky’ below, which, with its cyclic, guttural guitar riff, echoey vocals and apocalyptic lyrical theme, gives you a good taste of what to expect from the LP.
