What Is England is a four day festival being held in the Old Church in Stoke Newington, Hackney over the run up to St George’s Day and features Bishi, Output Arts and The Nest Collective.
The four-day event is set to explore the concept of Englishness through music, talks and workshops in London’s only surviving Elizabethan church.
The event kicks off on Friday 20 with the premiere of Bishi’s The Good Immigrant and DJing from NTS, with a second performance on the Saturday night plus panel and DJ sets from tQ’s John Doran.
