WATCH: The Magnetic North At Green Man

Band's performance of 'Signs' captured at the festival in August; watch below

In August this year, The Magnetic North made a brief appearance in Green Man’s live sessions, performing a relaxed, minimal version of ‘Signs’.

The track is taken from new album Prospect of Skelmersdale, which was released back in March. Their music is usually inspired by the concept of psychogeography, and this new album takes inspiration from the failed utopian housing development scheme that band member Simon Tong’s Lancashire town of Skelmersdale underwent back in the 1960s.

Paying yet another visit to the festival itself, tQ hosted a slot on Green Man Radio this year, with a special The Quietus Hour episode that was recorded live. You can listen to it here.

On December 1 and 2, Green Man DJs are playing a set at Skate, Somerset House’s ice rink which doubles up as a club during evenings. Tickets for these two sets are available via the Somerset House website.
