Last year one-man harbinger of gloom Luis Vasquez, aka The Soft Moon, released his second album Zeros via Captured Tracks to generally wide acclaim. Operating in much the same space as his 2010 self-titled debut, it was an impressively ragged slice of noisy and clattering post-punk, summoning up the spirits of past innovators like Joy Division and TG to an unhinged party inside a metal dustbin. Now Vasquez has released a video for the track ‘Die Life’ – in black and white, naturally – which you can watch above.
